After nearly three decades in law enforcement, I traded my badge for a new adventure—retirement. But if you think that means slowing down, think again.

 

I started Badge to Travel to share my journey from the streets to a life filled with new pursuits, including travel, storytelling, and, believe it or not, growing gourmet mushrooms (at least for now)!

Throughout my career, I saw firsthand the highs and lows of the job—some funny, some frustrating, and many that left a lasting impact. My blog is a place where I reflect on those experiences, share lessons learned, and highlight the importance of mental health in the law enforcement community. It’s also where I explore what comes next: traveling, side projects, and finding purpose beyond the uniform.
